The Restored Green Movement (RGM) is a civic exercise to restore honor, purpose, and functionality to the collective green movement. Beyond the apartheid of war politics, when all else fails, it is the imperative of the 'Greens' (green businesses, green organizations, green political parties, and green people) to speak for the trees, the bees, mountains, and the streams...to help those in need find their voice to rise against injustice in all its forms and to give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves...to invest in our beloved communities of the rainbow nation where people of all faiths, creeds, and colors reside, caring for and being cared for by friends and neighbors, the world over.
Our mandate is to live in service of the planet and her people by engaging in grassroots democratic actions which advance policies to nurture the economic environment that propels our principles and values into the future. Permaculture is the scientific nomenclature that serves as a Rosetta Stone for indigenous wisdom and a guide to peaceful actions that seek to lower the cost of living and improve the quality of life for all, now and for generations to come.
We are NOT a political party, nor are we taking side with either the national federation or the independent alliance of states. We are people from all political perspectives who care about representing these values for the people in our state, nation, and world. In the light of openness and fellowship, control, lies, and deception evaporate like the morning dew. We welcome anyone registered with any political party to aid in our quest to restore the green movement to our unified position as “the voice of the planet and her people." We are NOT engaging in petty, divisive politicking of personality and pride at the expense of creating a future wherein living in protective domes and underground is a vacation option rather than a survival strategy from our own short-sightedness.
Hemp, hydrogen, and health care provide the rails for fast-tracking our economic transition from the carbon economy. Raising real food will nourish more than our bodies and growing our own distributed energy network ensures the people have the power to endure the storms and in learning to live without government learn to have a functional relationship with them and each other. Training the next generation of permaculture professionals invests in the capacities of humans to thrive, and through their nurtured innovation, the whole of humanity to thrive.
As a policy, accepting "politics as the relationship we have with everyone we don’t have a relationship with" creates superficial interactions and allows doubt to spread. A simple focus on simple civic goals builds the momentum to grow and the space to thrive. Nurturing the deep roots of language culture, and traditions (new and old) can anchor the roots of the movement as we grow tall and broad, and revitalize the mycelium network that brings forth the beauty of the innovation renaissance, or Earth 2.0.
We recognize our roles and duties to the planet and her people in weaving - from the rainbow hue of political perspectives - a bridge forward to the mainstream adoption of the regenerative economy. Building on the permaculture principle of Nature, we seek to grow social capital that drives public/private investment into capacity building projects, which by the end of the decade will see the United States emerge as leaders of the fossil-free world. Restoring the capacity of the collective and unified green movement to serve as a united voice of the planet and her people allows us to build political strength to steer an economic course for generational prosperity.
